Helping users check their data is correct

At the moment, we tell users about any mistakes in their data that do not follow the specification.

But users need to also check their data is correct, for example that their geometries are in the correct place.

So we have added a ‘check answers’ page which shows the data that they’re about to send to us. The data is presented as a table and a map.

How it works

If the data passes our checks, users are taken to the ‘check answers’ page.

At the bottom of the page, users have to confirm if the data is correct or not.

If the user selects ‘Yes’ then they’re taken to the confirmation page. Otherwise they’re taken back to the upload page.
